Wedding Dresses with Sleeves

source
There were many suggestions that when Prince William and Kate Middleton wed that  the style of the wedding dress that she wore would influence wedding fashion for the next few years.

Alison McGill, the editor-in-chief of Weddingbells Magazine: "I think her choice to wear long sleeves signals a big goodbye to strapless wedding gowns."
Veronica Di Santo-Abramowicz, of the Toronto-based Ines Di Santo label opined "Kate's dress will influence so much of the bridal style that we will see over the next few years. It always happens that when a person of royalty or high stature gets married, this sets trends for several years. For example, Princess Diana's gown and Carolyn Bessette's gown are two noteworthy brides that come to mind."

Those who predicted that Kate's dress would set the trend for years to come seems to have come true. Not only in lace detail but also in with the many brides who are choosing to wear a dress with sleeves.  Please enjoy the beautiful examples of some gowns with sleeves that are fitting for any "Princess" on their special day!

Short Wedding Dresses

"A wedding offers the opportunity to express your own individual taste and personality. Wedding dresses come in a variety of styles. If you're more modern than traditional, perhaps a short wedding dress is right for you. The right short dress can convey sophistication and understated elegance while still keeping you at the center of attention." ~ S. Herlihy

So if you are not going with the traditional long wedding dress, check out these beautiful short style dresses.
